Braidwood 3-6

Meant to post this sooner, but got side tracked
Got out Saturday with a buddy and his Dad. Hit the water at 6 and idled our way around for a bit, visibility was about 15 ft. Between the 3 of us we boated 5 bass. I got 2 over 15" with the biggest weighing 3.5 lbs. Water temp was 68 on the cold side and 71 on the hotter side. Packed with boats, my 1st point hit was crowded within 10 minutes. Had to be an easy 100+ boats out there, but what do you expect for 1st open weekend?

All the reports that I have been reading are telling me that the bass are biting pretty good soo far this year at the hot tub. Also, an article I read, said that the bass have been making a slow comeback the past few years. I may just have to head out there one day this week. Ill be in the insane line at Lesalle on wednesday at about 4am lol. You headed out there drake?

Nope, actually never been there before. Prepping to hit Mazonia though, should be all open by the end of next week.

Would be hitting the south unit 1st, but its still a iceberg. Think I may have to go beat up a north unit lake. I'm hosting a tournament out there on March 28th, so I need to get it together.
