Hey another Mass guy! Welcome to the site!
Where was the swap meet? How do I get an invite! :D
I have used them pitched into weeds before with success.
The omega jigs seem to penetrate weeds nicely.
Best of luck with them!

We plan to have an unofficial Massachusetts Mass UB party possibly at the NIP this spring. As soon as we firm up the date, we'll pop a post up and be sure to let you know.

I use the football head about everywhere. The Pro-Mega is very nice and has come through a lot of heavy brush for me. I trimmed the weedguard down and it snags a little bit more now, but not near as bad as some others. My favorite right now is the smaller jig that they simply call The Omega jig, with a short flared skirt at the lead end of the jig. It has produced nicely for me in the watermelon color lately and has penetrated bone nicely on the hooksets. Almost all of of the fish I have caught with them have them swallowed deep. I generally use a Berkely Chigger Craw as a trailer and match is as closely as possible to the skirt.

I've used Omega jigs long before I became a staffer. Todd has done a great job designing these jigs. Omega jigs come through even the gnarliest cover without hanging. Don't get me wrong, you can hang them, (and I have), but they come through cover better that all the other jigs I've used through the years. The Pro Flippin and Pro Structure are my favorites. We have some nasty cover here in Louisiana, and these jigs really get the job done for me! I'll throw the Remitz football jig when others are throwing a C-rig. That football jig just seems to get a bigger bite most of the time. Good luck with them! Keep us posted on how you do with them!

I have used one that I won off this fantastic website! I cannot say that I have used it with any success, as I used it to get a feel for it, so I could make a review as to how it performed. Got through cover nicely, looks really good in the water. Bounces off rocks well. I wish I could give you more, but I thought they are a great product.

Only jig I use now!!! period.
My son just caught a 10 lb. Bass on the finese jig and I can't tell you how many quality fish we have caught on the pitching jig. As said before they come through junk very well and are designed for catching.
