I know its not a bass but still a nice fish from the bank after getting off nights. I guess it was a good reason not to go home and sleep.

It's hard to tell from the picture but it looks like a nice walleye.

Yeah, that picture did not do that fish justice. Another buddy of mine went to the same spot this morning and caught this giant.

28.5" and weighed #8-15. The two fish were caught while standing on the exact same rock. There must be something out there holding the big girls.

I could show you that rock, but you need an Illinois fishing license. I fished there for about an hour tonight and never got a bite. I worked it with a jig and twister and a crankbait.

I should hit it again tonight, but a guy I know is having a bday party for his wife. Maybe I will go out tomorrow morning in the snow
