I had such a good time on lunch, that I spent about an hour after work fishing again.  Pulled in 4 more....

I'm not sure if its just the spring bite or what, but this lure is producing for sure

How are you guys fishing this lure?  I don't own one, and never heard of one till I joined this board.  What are ideal conditions for this bait?  Are you swimming it over grass?  Most of the lakes in my area don't have grass, just weeds (and not the good weeds either, the kind that any lure brings up 10 lbs of salad).  I got stumps though.

there really is no wrong way to fish this lure, it all depends on water temp & color of water & bait.

For example....I fished in 35 degree water at Lake Fork in the first weekend of March.  I used a Vibrashock that I had Karl build for me ( colors are close to the West Coast Special ).  I did a slow retrive next to the dock , because the waters were cold.  I hooked a bass over 6lbs.  The water was muddy looking because of the recent rains and the reason I went with a light color Vibrashock.

I used the same colored Vibrashock when I went fishing at Lake Proctor.  It's June and mid morning, the water lightly stained.  I was throwing the lure up to a sandy/rocky edge and retrieving it at a med. speed.  I casted it in about 5' water and happened to get a backlash  ::)....after I got the mess sorta out and I begin to reel in I had a bass grab it.  Landed a bass just over 4lbs.

I've caught bass reeling it fast through grass, and reeling it slow and letting it fall to the bottom and brushing over stumps.

I really like the colors of Fogy green.  ;)

Ive tried fast, slow, fast and slow with repeated short pauses, and I got hit on all of them.  I havent burned it across any water though.  The lake i was fishing isnt clear by any means.  It was an old sand pit initially, so there is very little of anything in it but fish now.
