I am planning a fishing trip to lake Eufaula April 16th - 19th this year. I have
never fished the lake before and was wondering if anyone could pass along some
information that would help my trip be productive. I'd greatly appreciate it!

where are you putting in at? Lakepoint is where I normally go, (N end of the lake). It is about 3/4 of mile or so from the main lake but there is good fishing in these particular waters.Make sure you follow the channel when runnin and gunnin. Watch your forcast, if it is going to be windy or has rained N. of the lake (as far as Atlanta GA) in the past couple of days be prepaired for muddy conditions on the main lake.

Thanks for the info JJones... I will be leaving on Thursday evening and driving down (about 3 hour drive) and check out the lake a little. 1st day I plan on getting a first light start out of Lakepoint. After that, I have been looking at possible putting in at one of these three (because of where i will be staying). Hardridge Creek, Thomas Mill or White Oak. If everything goes as planned I should get at least 3 1/2 days of fishing in before I have to return to N. Alabama. Any recommendations on what baits and colors to use to target largemouth? Once again thanks!

Best luck I had out there was on Sexy Shad colored cranks in about 10ft but this was in the fall last year. Had some luck on purple 8in Zoom ribbon tails worms also around some of the grass out there. Good luck!
