A few from local lake
« on: March 18, 2010, 11:06:16 AM »

My parents came down from SD and we did a little fishing this past weekend (Karick Lake). Caught around 6 or 7, only these 4 were over 12" (the keeper limit) and the rest were 9-11". We always keep a few for fish fry and toss the rest back.
They are just starting their pre-spawn/post-winter movements at these local small lakes.

Yep had a great time for the short trip with my parents.
He is getting closer to early retirement in the next few years so he said he may just take a week long trip a few times each year to come down for some fishing and spend time with his granddaughters.
