and i need ideas. i have a few just wanting to see if any one had a better idea. i dont really want to go all the way back to the middle seat cause i would like to be able to still use it.

I would use a piece of plywood to the length you want, then build a support frame below it to take your weight. Then put a piece of ply on the vertical part (to hide the support frame) with hinges so that you will have some storage space under the deck.

Then I would add a small raised part right at the front to mount a foot control trolling motor and ish finder. This would also give you some more storage space.
