I don't have a bullet.....but I did stay at a "Holiday Inn Express" once...does that count?
Kidding aside......I've ridden in one and it was a great ride

Mike, I was getting her to 94 the day of the shots with the short distance we were running to get the shots.. Have had her to 100 many times and 101 once... GPS doesn't have 10ths after tripple digits so not sure how close any of those times to turning another mph.... Looking to get to 103+ before it is said and done..
Thanks for the kudos on my rig

What are the specs (length and weight) of your rig? What did she run off the show room floor?

Mike, the 20XD is 20' 1" long. she weights in at about 1200# (hull weight)..
I originally had a 225X on her and ran 83 after break in.. Had her up to 89 before I sold the 225 and bought the 300X, I've had the 300 to 101 once and had many runs at 100.. The best part is I can cruise 85 mph at 5600 rpm with T load.. Looking for a bigger topend #er this winter... Here is the link to Bullet boats.. www.BulletBoats.com

Yep, I have one of those also. 20XD with a 200efi Merc. I am not into the real highend speed. This 200 serves me very well.

Bullets ride quality?

I've drove/ridden in just about everything except a Bullet. I've previously owned Ranger and Skeeter, so speed wise, I know I'll be impressed, but what about the rough waters of the Chesapeake and Potomac? I can take a pounding, but can the Bullet boat take one as well. I'm thinking about going with a 2000- 2003 Bullet 20XD with a 225 or 250, (yahama if I can find one)...thanks -Bryan Novotny

hey, i've got a purple20xd 1998 with a mod '98 200efi merc turning a 26 chopper 2 also worked at 6250 and i'm running right at 80mph gps and a buddy of mine has had it up to 84 but he's 100 lba lighter than me. boat is great in SE La. waters that can get pretty rough. this boat is comfortable at any speed and is extremly fishable...i love it! just ordered new lower unit from randy pierson @GPI racing he and Titus @ custom welding in ALA. seem to work together making these lower units a s shown in june edition of Bass-n-Walleye Boats. I can't wait to get it inand bolt it on--- shoult be here in New Orleans Tuesday. will tell you guys how it works . has any body gotten a l/u from GPI?

well the new lower unit from GPI is working like a charm. only one problem ; it seems to make fuel on its own . used to use 12-15 gals in a 50 mile run at 3/4 throttle well now the fuel usage seems to be in the 9-11 gals at 6250 rpm . had to learn to drive all over again though this l/u is more narrow and offers a lower water pressure of 15-17 # and that apparently thats a good thing...this l/ was much less expensive than a rebuild and carries a 1 yr.warranty top end so far is @ 80 mph/gps
in addn. the pre-prespawn is starting. last week in the areas SE of New Orleans there were 5 bass caught in the 8.5#-11.1# range and 4's and 5's are becoming common everyday ocurrences.and thats in low water conditions. whoo! its gonna be a great season !!!

Hey guys, I have a '96 20xd w/ DT150 BASS Suzuki pushing. I have been playing with props on the thing and currently have a 24p Tempest turning 6000 @ 62mph lightly loaded and 57mph with tourney load. I still have throttle to play with so have 25p-26p in mind to try next. Prop has tremendous lift compared to last prop which is "no-name" that came with boat. Lots of fun and I am still learning to drive the thing. Does anyone have suggestions on refinishing boat, it was not kept covered before I got it and it's faded and has severe stains on the white lowers.
