I have not had much time to think about it but this will be a good place to post ideas for future reference..

What do you think about scrapping the WI tournament, It's been a bust the last 3 years.

Potential Ideas (Out of Town)
2016 State Tournament Location
Island Lake/Fish Lake in Duluth
Leech Lake/"Trophy"/Woman/Boy/Inguadona
Le Homme Dieu/Ida
Rainy Lake
Green Lake (Spicer)
Dead/Star (Park Rapids area)
Jefferson Chain/Lake Washington

"In town" Ideas
Pool 2 - Paper Tournament
Mille Lacs - Paper Tournament
N/S Center
Big Marine
Prior Lake (Early or Late in season to avoid crowd)
Marion
Pool 4 Wabasha
St. Croix River
Pokegama/Cross
Cedar (Faribault)

A lot of winners there, I like Mille lacs, Marion, Pokagama-Cross, and where the club record is from. Out of towner- Trophy-long, or Trophy-Leech, Trophy-Dead, Star.

If we do WI Tournament Apple River Flowage will be my nomination. Warms faster than most area lakes so should be decent fishing.
