I had the pleasure of fishing with my good friend Brad Jones. He showed me something I hadn't seen before in electronics. He had Livescope. Have you ever heard of it? I've had side imaging which is really cool, but this Livescope was something else. You can cast your lure out and actually see your lure coming back to the boat. If there is a fish behind it you can see how it reacts to it! I'd would love to see it on Lake Erie or Lake St. Clair. We ended up fishing Union Lake in lower Michigan. It's stump filled lake, but I was given a small demonstration on the electronics. The fishing wasn't bad either. We actually had a largemouth try to eat a smallmouth while reeling it in.

Thanks Donald. Have you ever heard of those Garmin Electronics before? I bought some large spoons from a guy in Texas years ago. I don't know if you guys still use them down there, but those electronics would be dynamite for that type of fishing.

Yes, they're a few guys I see here in Central Texas during Fishing for Freedom that use that product. The guide that I fished with up in Alaska a few weeks ago has Garmin Electronics in his boat. I don't remember the model but I was impressed with it's function.
