Title: Shimano Sahara fi foot flex
Post by: bucketmouth 87 on August 20, 2019, 07:19:23 PM
Is it just me or does it feel like the foot of this reel flexes when fighting a fish ?  Does anyone know what this is all about ? I have a Sahara Fe also and doesn't feel the same.

I don't have an FI, but never felt that in any of my other Saharas.

I have a Sahara and love the reel.  Never had that problem, it might be the rod seat.

I hadn't thought of that because it is on a brand new rod.  I'll look into that

It is an Aluminum Alloy. Very strong but lighter.
