I read about this. This is bad. I know they are trying to find out who is using it in other countries, but knowing our government, there is a lot of potential for abuse. I hope they just limit it to foreign countries and not in US

Know how we're not supposed to have a national gun registry? Yeah... if you buy a new gun and your name goes through the NICS, there's a record of it. It's legal, because it doesn't register your gun and they have no idea if you even bought the gun you got the background check for.
In short... national gun registry is illegal, but there's no law against recording everyone who has requested a background check to buy a gun.
Just one more law abused.
