Title: Fishing line
Post by: BIG PAPA on March 18, 2005, 09:15:06 PM
I found this interesting

Having used most of the line available today, I have to go with G-Line by Gamakatsu. Manufactured in Japan, it is a co-polymer, which I describe as having the look and feel of mono with the sensitivity of braid. Just remember not to set the hook too hard with a co-polymer or you may only reel in a pair of lips!!

A point worth noting is that the majority of US made fishing line regardless of brand name, comes from the same factory in Illinois! All they do is increase or decrease diameter and add color depending on the requirements!

Sad but true.
