Title: Lake Sarah Fishing Report
Post by: Ron Fogelson on December 14, 2005, 11:36:49 AM
The Ice is on the lake, very thin in most areas running 1 inch to 8 inches but they are catching some Perch on light jigs tipped with minnows.  Seams like some nice ones were taken over the last weekend with 1.5 to 2 lbs fish common in the group.

Hi IceMan!

I try to get up each year for opener but with the Air Force being my boss I tend to be in the sand a lot lately.

IceMan,,,,,   I'm Home!    ~roflmao

Fish Sarah today from about noon till 4pm.  Tried them from shore, worked bank lines and even did some drifting.  Used minnow, leaches, crawlers spinnerbaits & dare devils and nothing, nothing to brag about anyway.  Hooked into a nice Bullhead about 2:30 on a minnow rig drifting open water through a weed line.  LOL  was fun, I set the hook and it pulled line, I fought it to the boat calling out,,, get the net, get the net its a nice one.  ~xyz Dang Bullhead.  LOL  it was a nice one, just not what I was looking for.

This year seams that its been slow.  Kinda hit or miss from the reports I've been getting.  Only thing that has worked for me is a leason I took from the Lake of the Woods, fish the inlets.  Walleye like them this time of year and on Dead Coon that was the only action we had all weekend.  Other then a few monster carp and the ever loving Bullhead, who today proved they will eat anything.  lo
