Tournament organizing

I am a member of a 501c not for profit organization [rural VFD] on Missouri Lake of the Ozarks.  We would like to sponsor a Bass Tourney.  Does anyone have any suggestions per format, logistics.  I have been a participant in some tourneys but never involved in the organizational aspects.

if your still looking go to your local bait shop and ask who is having one then ask the director of that group if you can help and you should be good to go   ;)
