What year is this Cajun?

Louisiana DWF got my registration all fouled up, and I'm not sure they have the right year model for this boat I purchased.  I was told it was a '91 or '92.  The decals on the side say 170 PRO VEE.  However, its not a full 17ft long.  I assumed it was...

How can I find info about this?   :help:

lol alright...then my uncle and DWF is wrong!  lol  he said 91, they said 86....but the last 2 on the # is 83

The last two numbers are the year of the boat. Cajuns are not the full length, mine is a 17 ft, but it's true measurement is like 16.9, they round up to the nearest whole number.
