South Jersey Hook This will be hosting its 9th Annual Union Lake Open Bass Buddy Tournament:

Place: Union Lake, Millville NJ
When: Saturday, June 30, 2012
Time: 6:00AM to 2:00PM
Cost: $60.00 which includes Lunker
Limit: 5 Largemouths or Smallmouths Bass
Registration: 4:30am Till 5:50AM Day of Event
Payout: 80%; 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place; Lunker payout at 100%

Entry forms can be downloaded right here or picked up at your local Fishing Sporting Good Store starting this Saturday at Blackwater Sports, LA Fitness-Turnersville, and via the clubs Homepage

Flyers will also be posted at most of the South Jersey Lakes.

Note: Last year we had around 24 Boats. This year we're hoping to double that! with the SJHT Union Lake Championship TAG TEAM Belts up for grabs!

Weather: Cool and comfortable AM start around 66 Degrees warming up to a Scorching Hot 98 Degrees later in the day. Sunny blue bird sky with a tad of a breeze here and there.
Water Temps: Mid 80's degrees; Probably cooler up near the gate hole
Water Clarity: N/A
Wind Gusts: Pretty calm with No major gusts
Best Lure: N/A bc I don't know
Depths fished: N/A
Bass Limit: 5

First off I would like to say Happy Pre 4th of July to all the brave men and women serving our country here and abroad.  Without them, the little things we do would not be possible and I personally Thank them!!!



I would also like to thank this years 2012 SJHT 9th Annual Union Lake Open Buddy Tournament Sponsors Bob and Katie of "PowerTeam Lures"

www.powerteamlures.com .  Your generous Gift card donation and Lunker winner grab-bag was a major hit with all anglers.  I can honestly say the anglers appreciated this and I did also. 



Another 2012 long time SJHT supporter and partner when it comes to designing awards outside of the typical box is Mr. John Nestore of Gloucester County Awards and Trophies for there donation of our 2nd and 3rd place winners plaques. 



The anglers really like the fact we were able to incorporate Union Lake into the award.  Thank you sir.

Secondly, I have to give big props to all my SJHT Helpers for not only coming out to fish event, but to also remove the fallen trees that blocked the entrance way into Union Lake.  Jackson F. and Chris N.....



Thank you so much once again.  I would have probably turned around and went home!!!!  LOL

Jackson, Chris, Jimbo also helped check livewells and the registration process.  Thanks gents once again.

My VP Jay came through in the PM to conduct the weigh-in process with the legend TboeBass recording the weights in the official book.  Outstanding jobs guys!!! and a personally Thanks goes out to you to.

Third...What can I say!!!  In spite of the deadly Thundering\Ligtening Storms with the numerous fallen trees, anglers came out to battle for our 2nd installation of this years 2012 SJHT Open Buddy Tag Belts and they did not disappoint.



another great and successful 2012 SJHT Union Lake Open Buddy Tournament.  Today we had 17 boats register to fish and battle the ever hot sun beaming down overhead.

The Heat and the Sun beating down on these was painful sitting and watching from shore!!!!  However these guys and gals battled to the end.

Without further adieu give a big shoutout to the team of Matt Novak and partner Dave Belcher for taking 1st place with 5 fish weighing 9.54lbs. .  Second was won by the team of David Snedeker & Johnny Paoline.  with 5 fish weighing 8.90lbs.  Not to be outdone, the team of Doug Reed & Jeff Caderulo took 3rd place with 3 fish for 8.52lbs.  Congrats Gents and to all that came out in support of SJHT and putting on a decent event over any Mother-Nature events.
