Fruit Jar Tourney poll
« on: April 08, 2013, 09:41:12 PM »

30$ per boat. 5$ per head for big bass. 5 fish weighed. Slot depends on lake chosen. 12 inch minimum. We're trying to get the tournaments back up and running, so everybody chime in on what works best!!!
Thanks.....S.B.C.

We are hoping to get input on what day of the week works for y'all. Rudy and Mike, I know that there are Thursday nighters on Cross, Friday Nighters on Cypress, and now there are every other Tuesday tournaments on the river. That noted, lets make em on Mondays. That would be a good way to start the week. Time wise, lets do something in the neighborhood of 4-8pm. If anybody would like to throw in some more input, please feel free. Thanks........ SBC

And to answer your question exactly Mike, as it stands, the first one would start on 4/15. 4PM

I don't have a problem with it being on Monday, but I think 4pm is a little early. Some people don't get off work until 3:30.

Ok thats a good thought. Lets do 5-9 PM. 4 hours of fishing should suffice.

I think 5 would be a great start time. I think that's when most other weekday tournaments start. Will this week weekly or every other week?

Bobby, we are going to start them out as every other week. If the other moderators schedules work out to where we could make it every week, we will. After looking deeper into the other tournaments, we are looking at starting the Monday tournaments on 4/22. This way we are not on the same week as the tournaments that are every other Tuesday on the Red. We wouldn't want anybody to get burned out with back to back evening tournaments... :surrender:

Well dang! Starting April 22 through May 13 I won't even see my boat in the day light. We have a month long shutdown at work with 12+ hours a day 7 days a week. Oh well. I'll try to join up after then.

Well keep the thoughts coming in. If Mondays are good for most then lets roll with it. Would more of you like to rotate lakes or keep it to one location? I know most people like regularity, but there are some with wild hairs.
