pitch-centrifugal brake question
« on: June 25, 2013, 09:08:22 PM »

the abu Garcia orra sx has a pitch centrifugal brake&I watched the video on their web site and he was showing what each brake did.so my questions are would the spring breaks hold up and once you've set them, casted the reel and reengaged it (the reel)would they stay set or would you have to take the side cover off and reset them before you made your next cast?thanks....and yes I am know thinking about the orra sx  :shocking: :-\

If you are referring to having to reset the brakes after each "pitch", no. If you are referring to going from pitching to regular casting, then yes. The "cast" brakes and the "pitch" brakes are 2 different things as far as function.
