Hey guys I need some help.  Got to break my insurance down for my agent to insure my boat.  I have to break it down between the boat, motor and trailer.

It's a 20' 95 Astro with a 200 Mercury and a tandem axle trailer.

So if I insure it for 8000.00.  How do I break it down?
4000 for the motor
2500 for the boat
1500 for the trailer

Any help would be appreciated.

I would only do 1000 on trailer. You want most of it on the motor b/c it's what's gonna cost the most to replace if it's blown or stolen. Or rear ended. In my opinion.

Thanks.  Thats what I'm trying to figure out.

Yep good advice. Unless you total it the work that can happen on a trailer is a broken axle which is a couple hundred or a bent folder which you can bend back out
