You can fish any lure or style you wish at this time. Shad are throughout the coves and creeks. There is always a deep bite off the major drops and many of the big bass remain offshore except for the spawn. Better to use bait fish imitators at this time. The lower end of the lake appears to be better than the upper end at the moment. Bass are off craws for the most part and will be until the shad start moving to the channel.
