Welcome back to SJHT 2nd Club Tournament of the young 2016 SJHT Bass Club Season

Another excellent turnout and special shout out to our guest angler Mark of the South Jersey Kayak Fishing Club.  Kudos to you man!!

Today, SJHT had 14 members and 1 guest.  On a day without the Fu Man, anglers were given the opportunity to let there hair down.  Unfortunately, the relax atmosphere didn't work for most.

Without further adieu, please give a big shout out to Layne *Chilling in my new Boat* E. for taking 1st place and Lunker with 2 Bass weighing 4.05lbs.  His Lunker went 3.22lbs.  2nd Place was won by Rob *Don't forget that Tree*  M. with the only limit of 3 Bass weighing 3.85lbs. 3rd Place was won by Brian *BassHopper* S. with 1 Bass weighing 1.56lbs.  Congrats men. Way to work hard for those fish.

Summary:  Menatico SP and the sparce Bass once again whip our arse.  Judging from the Tale of the Tape, anglers moans and growns could be heard within each Sand Pond. LOL.  Anglers reported earlier bites when the sun was trying to peek through, however it was quickly died once the sun got somewhat High and bright.

There were a total of 10 Bass weighed in totalling a whopping 13.89lbs.  That gave way to a 1.39lb avg. catch.  There was 1 Limit caught. Rob caught 2 more Bassin the last hour of the Tournament on some lay down tree.  7 out of 15 anglers caught at least 1 Bass

All in All, the day turned out to be nice after all.  I was able to pull off the Hoody and get some Vitamin D with the sun.  LOL. Menatico SP always stumps us.  Really don't why we keep coming back but it's another day on the schedule.

Thanks to all for coming out and to our special guest Mark.

Next up is Union Lake next Saturday.

Hope to see those all there :->

Tightlines,
