Thanks guys. Have to say it was quite a trip picking parts, designs, and colors. Lee Smith is one HELLUVA guy and from what I can tell so far, a master at his craft. I'm just afraid this is the start of an evil addiction. >:D

I generally use 7 ft + rods but this one is for tight quarters precision pitching and I seem to have my best accuracy and lure entry with slightly shorter rods

Very nice! Enjoy that as they are a fine work of art, and killer fishing sticks. You are gonna love it soo much that I'm sure it won't be your last. Trust me. Lol

My wife says she is gonna leave me if I go fishing one more time........lord how I will miss that woman.

Oldfart9999

Old Fishermen never die, their rods just go limp.

Awesome! ~c~ Very close setup to one Lee did for me. My intended use is for light plastics and light jigs around docks. Be sure and post a review once you've fished it. I'm probably going to go with the Point Blank when I have him build my next rod.

I'll be throwing the same lure types around docks and cypress trees with lots of low hanging limbs. For me the longer rods hit too many obstacles while I'm pitching. Got a Holy Angels benefit tournament at the end of the month, I'll post a review after that for sure.

Nice rod! Just out of curiosity, what is a ballpark price for a rod like that from Lee?

You need to contact Lee.  Every rod he builds has its own price.  I have 2 and both were different in price it depends on what is used to build it.  Lee will work with you and in the end you'll have a Custom Rod that you help to design.
