Been about 95 or so here in Texas for a month or so (was 100 before that), suddenly after a rain this weekend we have a few days of 75-85 degrees or so.  Worms and t-rig plastics were working the best in the high heat, I'm wondering what I could try now and maybe catch a few others wouldn't.  Jerkbait or a crankbait maybe?  (those haven't worked all summer, btw)

Sometimes it takes more than just the first cool down to start effecting the water. But I always have a crankbait tied on and give it a solid shot. There are resident shallow bass, they live shallow all year long. It's obviously these bass that will enjoy the cool down first. Won't be enough to trigger the "Fall Feed" but it can be enough to put the temperature into a more comfortable range and cause activity.

I also pick up my topwater game as well.
