Yep

For the money, they are pretty decent handles. The wait sucks though.

Agreed. Fantastic handles for the money; if it weren't for the wait (1.5 months in my case) I'd buy handles from nowhere else.

I bought the Daiwa Axel Pins to use Daiwa knobs on Shimano reels too. I am going to order a few more soon.

Price and the fact that you can use Daiwa Knobs. I think they are the same size, maybe a bit thinner on the Ray's. I wouldn't call them "better", but you have more options with the Ray's and 28 bucks is a killer price.

Hawgtech handles are just huge. Really beefy. I think they'd be great on a deep cranking setup or an A-rig or frog setup, but they are pretty overwhelming on a small/normal sized reel.
The cork knobs are very large as well but really comfortable I must say.

Their finesse handle, which is a 90mm, is a smaller profile. Great with the smaller Shimano knobs. But yes, the regular ones are quite bulky, and you can't use Daiwa knobs.

Not sure about better as I have not used Hawg Tech. But they are waaaayyyy cheaper. Which is why I got one.
