Thanks guys! Yeah the red is nice. i did prefer to have black but they didnt have a 2016 left in black.

Bit the bullet and bought a Minn Kota 70# Maxxum the other night. installing it next week. Then boat upgrades are done and its fishing time! Weather is starting to slowly warm back up, here in IL.

Congratulations on the new Tracker 175 TXW. I was going to buy one of those as well until my dealer made me an offer I couldn't refuse on my new Pro Team 195 TXW Tournament Edition.

From what I've seen around here there is no dealing on the new boats.  You pay sticker price and there is no haggling.  Bummer.

With BASS PRO they sell them as a package so there's no dickering. Their packaged prices are good which is why they sell so many. It was a marketing move that everybody said would fail, before Morris bought out most of the other manufacturers he was the world's largest manufacturer of fishing boats.

Thanks yal! Yeah there wasnt really any price budging.

I did wait for the January season kick off promo and went with a 2016 to save a few bucks.

500 bucks off boat package
500 dollar BPS gift card
100 Dollar Tracker Clothing gift card
2yr extended Mercury warranty

So still not a bad deal to pretty much get 1k off, plus 2 extra years on the motor. Im satisfied.

Trolling motor came in today, and installing next week. Super windy here lately so i deff need it to help battle the winds!

I see yours has the 60hp four stroke motor.  What's your opinion of it?  Is it enough power?  And what kind of speed do you get from it?  Thanks.  Looking at a boat now with a 60hp motor.  Hoping it will be enough.

Break in is roughly 10hrs. pretty much low rpm for first hour, 2nd hour is up to 4500 with 1 minute full speed blasts every 10 mins, then vary rpms for 8hrs with no full blasts over 5mins.

It's the same procedure for my Yamaha engine.
I guess the same for all new 4 strokes engines.

I havent been able to get it opened up fully yet as im still breaking it in. got out earlier this week and got maybe total of 1hr in so next outing ill open it up a bit more. got up and cruised 4k rpm at around 20mph and felt quick for me. Im in not need to run and gun super fast anywhere. im a light dude so with me, gear, and maybe half gas itll prob do 32ish. Plenty quick enough for my weekly fishing.

Once. You get her broke in you'll be around 35 heavy 37 light. The 60 is a good match for a PT 175. 3 second holeshot, and mid 30s top in is good. I have for a long time been one that does believe Max out horse power on any boat. But on the PT 175 it really isn't needed. To upgrade to the max 75 HP, You're adding 100 pounds of weight with that motor your top in is only around 40-41 with the stainless steel prop. Holeshot is about the same, maybe a second faster. Your transom weight rating is around 395. So with the 350 pound motor. Jack plate which a lot of people like to have, you're basically maxed out. With the 60 and a small 4 inch jack plate you can tweak that speed up to around 38 with the stainless steel prop. But you have a lot of wiggle room for adding power poles. Is the 75 better probably need it on this particular boat not necessarily. JMHO

I got 34mph consistently with my 2013 PT 175 with the same motor. Can't wait to see what I get out of my pt190 with the 115 on it. Guessing about 50

Opened her up a bit more today per break in. GPS said 30mph at about 5k rpm which aint too bad. she was cruisin fast enough for me! Largest lake near me is 40mph max anyway.
