I am new to outboards and just picked up a new 2016 Tracker boat with 60hp Merc 4stroke.

Was out putting new cover on it today and noticed this tube was pinched inbetween the mount when it was trimmed down. is this of any concern? connects down to lower unit on the outside, and comes up and connects to a quick disconnect fitting. looks like it was ziptied too close to the bracket and got pinched. Just seeing if this is something i need to take back and get fixed or possibly repair myself as dealer is just under 3hrs away.

thanks in advance!

It looks like your pitot tube, the tube that feeds water to your speedometer to make it function.

You should be able to straighten it out and re-secure it where it won't be bent like that.
