Had to take a break and go back to my "Fall Hobby" - Archery/Bow Hunting. Nope I haven't gotten one yet . But I just had to check this thread out to see who got "hooked" by the Monkey bait

Powell Max 3D Spinning Rod 7'1" Light. 
Powell Max 3D Mag Bass Casting Rod 7'3" Mag Hvy Frog
Several Trokar Hooks
Two casting rod sleeves

For a not real expensive rod that Powell 7'3" Mag Hvy Frog is a pretty good rod. I picked one up used and its stout. Doesn't have quite the tip for casting some really light small frogs but definitely a stick for the full size frogs or toads and pitching a 1/2oz or bigger jig if you like. Its actually pretty decent for pitchin jigs I was kind of surprised.

Yeah - got that for King Daddy Frogs that I am gotta try it out.

Was only 99 bucks so it doesn't hurt. If I dont like it. I can always sell it on the BBC forum.

I almost pulled the trigger on that frog rod but was concerned that it would be too stiff for my taste. That sale was a good deal!

I have orders from Monster, Doc Irving, and Jann's on the way right now, plus I ordered a bunch of jig heads from a guy in Tennessee (cheaper for what I need than buying ANOTHER mold, sheesh!). And this week I'm gonna try to get my act together for the folks on the forum that donated to the Adopt A Family Raffle. Once I get all of their lure preferences then I'll make what will probably be a HUGE order. This Bait Monkey/Tackle Ape stuff is SERIOUS 'roun these parts.

I have a small amount of money available at the moment. Two things holding me back right now are
1) I don't know if I could talk the boss lady into agreeing, and
2) with the cancer diagnosis I don't know what treatment is going to be yet so if I end up in bed for a month or so I'm going to need to get a new laptop so I can stay connected with UB.

I started putting the money away for the purpose of a laptop if I need it, but I know Joe has one of the mis-labeled 736 CB Glass rods and that is calling my name. I'm sure he would make me a good deal that we could both live with but I may not end up being able to fish until June or July anyway so I can't see spending the $$ now for a rod I may not even get to use this year.

But I really want it. Damn monkey!!!

Trust me when I sah nothing. This a sale to benefit the 2nd Birthday at Disney for Cambridge. I have spent enough in the last 2 months on myself. I think I had bought 6 Lews Super Duty reels, 1 SV105 thats all done up now, and 2 rods. I aaaaaaaalmost got the divorce look. Lol
