How exactly does it cast ?  What kind of weights does it say its supposedly for?

I've always wanted a heavy spinning rod but never found one I could see paying the price they wanted for it.  I always wondered why they are kind of rare too. All the spinning rods have a wet noodle feel to them imho. One reason I cant and don't fish spinning gear I need something that doesn't fold up like a cheap suitcase when I get a fish on.

I'd have to go look but forget casting a 1/16oz weight and worm on it. You need at least 1/8.
My dobyns champion 704 is perfect. I can cast 1/16 oz all day on it with good distance.

I think a MF in the avid x would have been better. But we don't buy medium rods down here.

Oh man! That's as awesome reel made by Daiwa for BPS. One of the best ones they had, based off the Pixy.

I may be wrong but I think it's a bit older than my latest 2 which are 10 bearing reels, really nice for light baits.

So I'm going to blame this purchase on Lou and the bait monkey. They colluded and then this happened.






The Gambler sale got me good.
I really like their creature baits and they make in my opinion the best swimming swimbait out there. Other than the one I pour myself which pretty much is a close replica of the ez swimmer.
Hard to pass up a big bag of swimbaits at the price they were being sold at.

Though I think I would have been better off using the money I spent on the 6" stick baits on something else. Not many stick baits in each bag.
We will see how they perform.

Actually these weren't really that expensive. I think 6 bags for 20.
Not all stick baits are created equal either. BPS makes in my opinion the best stick bait. The Sticko.
I recently tried the YUM brand and liked them, but the rate of fall is different. I've tried many brands. Never Gamblers though. So we will see.

I was thinking I need to sell off some stuff as well. If you don't mind sharing where did you list your stuff? I was thinking about Ebay but its been a long time since I used eBay as a seller. By now I figure they take a considerable chunk.
