Sunline Shooter
« on: June 01, 2017, 01:23:57 PM »

Anyone have some time with this line? Looking at the 7#. At 3.5 times the cost of my current FC Sniper and almost double the price of Tatsu, is it that much better?

Wow! I didn't realize it was that expensive. Tatsu is almost too expensive for me but I still buy it. Shooter better be pure magic.

I use it all the time, best dang line I ever used, you'll never see me on the water without Sunline Shooter spooled on my reels.

I used to use the off brands, but once I realized the girls really like me fishing with Sunline Shooter, well, it has changed everything.  I can last longer on the water as it's only 8#'s and I can lift it all day long.  The bass run to my baits now that I am using Sunline Shooter, as compared to before where they actually had to be enticed to hit my baits.

Get you some Sunline Shooter and see what I'm talking about, but hang on, the girls will be chasing you and the bass will be biting!  It's the best dang line out there, and you can put my mark on that one for sure!

The proceeding was a not paid for cheap solicitation for a line that I have never used, will never use and ain't even ever seen  :shocking:

Boy and I thought it was hard to understand him when he talks.
Lee just uses bullrope and lassoes those hogs.

I will never pay that much for line.

I really like it, I like it a bit more than sniper from say the 10lb. on up.. In the lighter weights I'm not sure you gain much and I don't think it handles as well as sniper..
But it's tough ,I use it on my heavier jig rods and even on a couple spinnerbait rods..
I think you may have misread the price or spool size. It usually runs about the same or a bit less than Tatsu..

Been lurking around a bit and need to speak up just to declare how awesome this line is. I exclusively use shooter, and although pricey, completely worth every penny. It's incredibly tough so I have a lot of confidence in it whenever I hook into a pig, you'll rarely break off unless you get wrapped under a log and you do so purposely. Even with frays, it is tough as ish. Casts well, no memory. Long lifespan as well... I've had it sit on reels I haven't used in years and can fish it, no issues.

Nice to meet you all.

Sunline Shooter?  2 words:  Worth Every Penny!
Find the Invisible if you can.  And underfill your spool a bit.

I use Sniper 7, 10, 12, 14. Where as 16 and up I use Shooter. Mainly Carolina/Football set up. Assassin, FC Leader and the rest are all good imo. Just gotta try em and see what works for you. I use 12lb sniper on my main jig set up and love it.
