Got what I thought were the same reels, but it seems they may not be?

I have two Daiawa Tatula CT TYPE R
I have two Daiwa Tatula Type R

There difference in them is the on has the CT and the one that doesn't has Type R painted on the reel, the other doesn't.

The CT is the newer version that is a more compact (CT) reel. Both great reels, but the OG Tatula(the bigger one) is bigger. (obviously, lol) You may not notice a difference performance wise, mostly just in the ergonomics.

My wife says she is gonna leave me if I go fishing one more time........lord how I will miss that woman.

I own 4 of the Tatula Type Rs and 2 of the CTs. Other than the physical size difference they perform equally well.  You wont see much difference either.  The Tatula lineup has become my favorite to fish with so I am slowly selling off all my other brand reels.  That is how much I have come to like them.

CT versions are less clunky.
