Great Things!
« on: June 19, 2017, 01:08:56 PM »

Before Tom went big time he posted on a regular basis here on UB with fishing reports for Fork and helped out with various threads. He's a little busy now but still checks in once in a while...

The Boy Scouts of America in partnership with FLW and Zebco are presenting Brooklyn Fishing Day tomorrow in Brooklyn from 5p-9p. FLW Tour pros Tom Redington and Grae Buck will be on hand helping 400-500 kids at Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, taking photos, signing autographs and handing out 400 rod and reel combos. It will be a great event and offer a lot of NYC youth who may rarely have the chance to fish the opportunity to cast a line with tips from the pros.

The Boy Scouts of America have posted an article online at:

That's awesome!!!  :toot:  You all know I'm a big fan of youth fishing programs.

I can't remember what fishing show it was but i watched an episode where a kid took the host bass fishing right in Central Park in the middle of New York City.  He caught both smallies and largies out of the ponds in that park.

I wish them all a great success with this.  ~c~
