My brother in law and I went pike fishing on the fourth of July. We went out on smaller lake here in southern michigan and tore them up. Probably the best day of pike fishing we have ever had. We ended up landing 9 and losing one. We caught some biggins too. The last one of the day followed up on my spinner but missed it, so I ran my spinner down beside the boat and watched the giant come up and smash it. It was epic, and the best part is I got it on film!

What an awesome fish! I bet that was a lot of fun to catch! Thanks for posting this.

It's always fun to catch these toothy guys. It's an adrenaline rush when you get a good follow up bite.
