Stolen out of my driveway...Southern Hills.  We NEVER have any crime in our neighborhood.  One of the quietest places in town.  Ya just never know.

Funny thing is that I was glad when a policeman moved in across the street recently.   Police  I figured his squad car was good insurance against crime.  He was out on patrol last night though, so I guess it was less than a deterant.  Oh well.  The thief left all 9 rods & reels and tackle in my boat, along with 8 life jackets, anchors, first aid, fire extinguisher, extra props for trolling motor and outboard, and multitudes of other stuff.  It could have been worse.  The only thing in my truck was a few CD's and work stuff.  I think Sherwin-Williams will be able to absorb the loss of some color decks and the like.

It's gonna be harder than all get out to pull my boat with my wife's Hyundai XG350, though.  Sure wish they would have stolen THAT vehicle instead!  Laugh

Same here Scottie, I live over by Southwood and just here in the last couple of years I have had a few neighbors move in I didnt care for, one family in particular 3 houses down thinks they have to have a party every other weekend and they have like 30 cars up and down the street and all parked in there yard. They have 3 generations living in there I think all and all about 10 or 15 people mostly young kids running up and down the road playing basketball. Used to be quiet around here. Time to move I guess @!%#*$

Got my truck back.  I'll be back to fishing in no time!   Clap

They only drove it about two miles.  Left a hand-held GPS unit in it, left my radar detector, polarized sunglasses and even my quarters, dimes and nickels in the change thingie.  They took a digital camera, but it was on about it's last leg.  You couldn't even review the pictures on it anymore.  There was a ring in the ashtray that might look worth something...but the wife says it is one that cost a whole 5 or 6 bucks.  They didn't even hardly burn any gas out of it!   Grin

Now...to find a customer to take fishing this week, so that I don't have to take a vacation day.  Did anyone catch anything at Caddo this weekend?

Fished Caddo from 5pm to 8pm yesterday. We fished trees with pads around them ,I caught a 17 inch slot on a 14 inch worm in 3.5 foot of water. The water where I fished was very stained to muddy and water temp was 90-91. I did not go to any of my normal summer spots....saved them for this evening.  SC Gator
