Pacific NW Ron

Sept 20, 2017
We went out at about 9am today.  About 2pm the wind came up and it was kind of hard to fish the way we wanted so we came.  Being retired we don't have to fish when it gets uncomfortable.
It was a cloudy cool 48 degrees when we launched but a decent 60 when we came in.  After the rain we had for the last couple days the water was more stained with only about 6" to 10" visibility.  Water temp was 60 to 62 degrees.  Once again the fishing was slow.  I only caught 3 small ones all about 1lb to 1.3lbs.  All were caught on a swim bait.

Enjoying retirement in the great Pacific Northwest.  I've turned into a fair weather angler.  Why do it today when I can do it tomorrow?
