******WHAT LURES DO YOU USE?*******
« on: October 12, 2017, 04:26:29 PM »

I AM NEW TO THE FORUM AND I AM WANTING TO KNOW WHAT LURES ARE BEING USED IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE COUNTRY AND WHAT TIMES OF THE YEAR ARE THEY MOST EFFECTIVE!

I AM CURRENTLY USING THE MEGABASS POPX AND POPMAX, AS WELL AS A TEXAS RIG WITH A WATERMELON, OR PUMPKIN SEED ZOOM WORM. I AM ALSO USING THE RIVER 2 SEA WHOPPER PLOPPER 90 IN THE PEARCH COLOR.

SO LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU USE AND LETS GET THIS FORUM STARTED!!!!

lo  This forum has been started and running strong for MANY years.  lo

Anyways Welcome!!! Pleasure to have you with us. Pull up a chair, make yourself right at home and jump in wherever you feel comfortable.

Generally I'm using whatever the fish are telling me what they want on any given day under the given set of conditions. Up here in the northeast we are not far from the hard water months so moving baits like cranks, lipless cranks, swimjigs and chatterbaits seem to be taking the lion's share.

If you would like to win some free gear from some of the great companies that sponsor our site be sure and put your name in for the New Memberís Contest and the Weekly Contests .

Looking forward to seeing you around the boards and to learning from what you share with us.

In the meantime, if you need any help with anything at all please don't hesitate to contact me or any other staff member.

Once again, Welcome!

Southern, welcome aboard, glad to have you buddy!!! Better would be questions about individual lures or techniques, also individual situations you run across. There are a lot of threads here on different baits that will help you out also.

Welcome! I Agree with all of the above... for me the past couple of trips out have been your basic fall patterns. Poppers and walking baits early, then a white chatterbait or spinnerbait have been hot as soon as the wind picks up a bit.
