Rainy days and Wednesdays
« on: November 16, 2017, 10:48:23 PM »

I took yesterday off and went to the lake.  I was planning on putting a fall beat down on the bass.  Conditions were perfect, here's how it went:

https://southernoutdoorsman.blogspot.com/2017/11/i-took-off-mid-week-for-much-needed-day.html

It was the first time I'd been out in a long while.  Life has been getting in the way of my fishing this year.   :)

Great read cd1 and that sounds like a cool place to go fishing. To bad you couldn't find any hungry LMB but since you did catch a yellow bass you wouldn't count that as a skunk  ;D

Thanks!  Despite the slow fishing, I was in a great mood when I got back to my warm, dry truck.   :)

That was a good read CD1.

I even sent a link to it to my wife.  She can never figure me out or why I do some of the "crazy" things that I put myself through.  She just don't get it.

Thanks so much.  That's a really neat idea to send it to your wife.  On several occasions I've heard back from people who have never hunted or fished and they say things like "Now I understand why people do that."  They've just never seen it.  Most folks would still not be up for the work or the suffering it takes, but for the true believers like us, it's magic.
