Told us over on hour to get from Stutt's on LKN about 7 miles running 8-14 mph.  Waves 2-4 foot. Charlie and got to the hill we both started on Aleve lo Weather site checking at lake side said 8-10 ~b~ ~b~ ~b~  When I got back to the house my weather gauge showed steady 15-18 and gust to 34mph ~shade  Go figure lo  I need to get a job as a weatherman where I could be wrong over 60% of time and still keep my job lo  Weather Men have got to all be Democrats spreading misinformation ~c~

You should have checked our forecast. I wanted to get out on the water yesterday and according to the NOAA and NWS, we were supposed to have what you got. By 0900 I was kicking myself a little for not going, but by 11:00 the winds had picked up and I was glad I didn't.

On Monday this week the Weatherguessers said it would be 49 and a 5-10mph wind. I figured we could hide in a couple of coves if the wind was a problem in an aluminum boat. According to two on-line hourly forecasts that morning the wind should decrease around 9am and continue to decrease all afternoon. Wind was like 10 mph when we launched at 9:30 but started increasing as we approached Noon. Wind was variable so hiding didn't work for long.
I caught one smallmouth that was 10 inches on a Mann's 10+ so the day was not a waste. Partner feels the same way I do, "I don't care that fishing was bad cause I spent the day on the water".

I'll second your thoughts. How come it's never the other way around? How come when they predict 15-20 it isn't calm and nice  :surrender:

I'm hoping to get a job as a Weatherman,  It's going to be calm with light wind which will be from 5- 35 with gust of 40-50 lo May be higher or lower, and it might rain or not ~b~ So put seat belts in your boat and rain gear just in case because I just reading the report from Wunderground Weather, WSOC, Weatherbug and they don't know any more that I do lo All site report wind 5-10 and the wind is 20 to 25 with gust or 30 lo Hell I'll look out the door and say it's a little breezy lo but no rain for now ~shade may rain not my fault :o :o
