Rough morning

Hit up my usual pond for the pre front bite that simply didn't happen.

Threw everything from frogs to ploppers to pop-r's. Topwater wasnt happening.

After 2.5 hours I finally get bite on a little Booyah spinnerbait. The only hit on it.

Moved to soft plastics.

Senkos were a bust. Wacky n weightless t rig.

Switched to Junebug Pit Boss and they became active. Caught few more on it.  Was rough...

I need to get me a boat!

Way to stick it out and finally figure them out. That is the fun part of it for me. If you only had to show up and cast to catch fish there would be a whole lot less satisfaction.

I agree... just disappointed in the size... all summer I was catchin 1lb-3lb fish and now just dinks lol

Glad you were able to figure things out and at least catch some even if they weren't as big as you were hoping for. You saved Lip from having to fire up his printer and issue you an official Skunk certificate.
