What were the results?  I keep thinking how awesome a 722 split grip spinning rod would be for smallies...

What are the options? I love my fury rod...Does very well for cranks!

I like to have medium heavy fast action rods. Preferably 7'+. I do a lot of frogs, cranks, jerk baits, but I do want to find a good one for jigs and worms and such....that's the one area I need the most teaching of.

i'm not totally familiar with those specific rods but know I need to fill out my arsenal I went with a couple of rods I thought would be nice to own. I did selected a spinning 2 power, a 4 & 5 power casting.

Thanks for the response but this contest is done over and Capt Steve won it but stick around there will be other chances through out the year to win one.  ;D

So, do we have an idea when these rods will be available?

I can't put words in Gary's mouth on this one. He had hoped it wouldn't be that long but with the move to Texas and then ICast just around the corner, I'm thinking fall as a minimum. But as far as I know, he's shipping now  ~roflmao

We'll see if I can get him to dial this in a bit for us.

I like the idea of the 723C, and the
724C. As someone mentioned earlier I would also like to see something geared towards Ned, Neko weightless stickbait rigging in a baitcasting model. I'm weird I know.. why not just use a spinning rod.  Power Finesse?? Does that exist?

You get the right reel and it can easily be done with a baitcaster. LMG is our resident expert when it comes to this subject so hopefully he will see this and offer up some of his expertise. If not, send him a PM. He's a really good dude and always seems to be willing to help people out with stuff like this.  ~sun

With casting I believe you'd need something in a 2 power rating for Ned Rigs. A 3 power will work and I'd suggest if if fishing around a lot of cover but  2 power will fish better. I don't plan on making a 2 power casting right now in a super high end rod. Simple reason is we don't sell enough to justify it. We do make several 2 power casting rods in various series. THX!!!
