Powell Mistake Inferno Rods
« on: March 04, 2018, 07:08:00 PM »

Anybody looking for a good deal on a Powell Rod, Powell is offering their Mistake series of their Inferno line for sale on their website. They are $79 for the first one and then $32 for each after. Shipping is free if you buy 2 or more. The Mistake series is the Inferno series with stainless eyes and  a red color scheme. Everything else about the rod looks to be the same as the inferno.

It's a mistake to look at that rod. You will be making a boatload of mistake.

Heck, its a mistake to think that the monkey bait want you to get it :)

Other that that - It looks like a great deal for those who wanna try it out.

I have 2 Diesel rods, 2 Inferno rods, and one of the 3D Powell Frog Rods. I actually like the rods pretty good. I had a 734 Inferno I broke trying to net a bass but they warrantied it with no hassle. I never heard of the Mistake rod. Would kind a think that name might hurt sales a little.  lo Oh wait by todays standards that is probably cool or something.

It was a deal very similar to this is how I ended up with the Diesel crankbait rods. Was something like buy a Inferno and get a Diesel for free. Worked out the Diesel rods have been OK rods especially for free.

I think that these are a one time only type of rod. They put different guides on them by mistake and put a different color scheme on them to blow them out. Good thing that I was in the market for a new frog rod. Go away monkey!!!
