With all the great reviews on Dobyns Rods I just had to Join the club and get my first Dobyns rod! Only problem is I didn't know which one t start with so I ordered 3!!!first order was for the FR705cb then the next day I just had to order the the FR734 an FR735 Lol then I had to get some new reels and decided to go with 2 new Lew's BB1  and  ordered some new lews custom speed shop knobs to match the rods turned out pretty slick when I put them on! And being a fan of the Winn handles on My lews tp1 Rods I knew I'd like the Winn knobs as well. Don't know why Lews didn't decide to put them on all there reels! And kinda sucks that they only sell them as singles instead of pairs! But all in all I love the feel of the Winn texture knobs! Still waiting to find another reel I like might end up with another lews bb1 if I can get another good deal!!! I'm super stoked to get out on the water and give these Rods a try!!!! Thanks again to all the members on this site for sharing all there knowledge and experiences with me!

I'm sure you'll be happy. I love my FR735c. I'm a believer that you get more for your money out of a Dobyns than any other brand.

I just don't think you can go wrong on Dobyns rods and Lews reels.  Good choices  Congrats.
Enjoying retirement in the great Pacific Northwest.  I've turned into a fair weather angler.  Why do it today when I can do it tomorrow?

They are great looking combos for a decent price! Well worth every penny. Just wait till you fish them,  the monkey will be on your back so fast.  lo

Congratulations. I got my first one just a few weeks back as well. Everywhere I looked people couldn't speak a bad thing about dobyns. I went in looking for a champion series but were sold out of everything that I was interested and found a Sierra 734 on sale so I snatched that up! Very excited to try it out. Just the feel and balance of these rods feel fantastic. Already debating another dobyns for a crankbait rod, one of the glass ones perhaps

Thanks guys! I'm pretty pumped about using them!!! I was hoping to have this assortment cover almost all the types of fishing I do. With the exception trying my hand in swim baits. Might need to order just one more!!! Lol.

You can probably do it with the 735. Its alot more stout than youd think.

Nice tackle. Dobyn's has great bang for your buck entry rods as well as high end. I fish with the Savvy rods and don't mind them at all. I like the Lew's reels as well. The BB1 now has the new centrifugal braking and its very nice.  We have been having 20mph winds here and I just cast away with no problems.  :)

Nice selection of rods and reels there. I also fish Fury Series rods and love them. I have a 705CB, 734C and a 765flip. I also just bought one of the mismarked Champion 736 Glass rods but haven't had a chance to use it yet. I am planning on using it with some of my DD Crankbaits. (DD=Double Deep). Good luck, I am sure you're gonna love em.
