Onboard charger

Would like some recommendations on a 3 bank charger. The Prosport 20 on it. Just decided to quit.

I replaced my ProSport20+ with a NOCO GEN3 30AMP. I did a lot of research before buying. Very pleased with it.

While the Precision is batter the Minn Kota Digital is a good unit also and less money.

I have three charging systems in my Puma. A NOCO 3 bank charger for the trolling batteries; A Minnkota 1 bank charger for the starting battery; a Reese .2 amp battery maintainer for when the boat will sit for longer than two weeks.
Remember to unplug the trolling motor before charging. Not just turn it off--unplug it. It makes a difference when you charge the batteries. Also, if you have a DI engine, it has an on onboard computer. If the boat sits for over a month, the computer can drain the starting battery. Use a battery maintainer if the boat will not be used.

Well going back with a Prosport20. He found one for 138. My son said he didn't have the money right now to go with a better one. Told him I'd buy it or pay the difference. Told me it was his boat and not my place to do it.

Admirable young man!  ~c~

I've had two ProSports and never had any issues until the last one lost one bank. My only problem ever was when the one bank (my cranking batt) died, it didn't give any indication, the charge light continued to indicate it worked. I discovered it pretty quickly by the voltage display on the graph.
