Anyone else with these reels have issues with the line slipping past the spool and frame?
If i get any kind of loop in my spool, the line gets caught very easy.
I compared it to some other reels and there is a noticeable space in between the spool and frame that I do not see on other Lews.
Sorta disappointed in the two that I have and these are $180 reels
Anyone else experience this or have nay tips?

I only have one lews and it's not this one.

Is it possible to get a picture of the problem?

Just thinking out loud my first thought is that the spool tension isn't tight enough.

I have one and never had that problem.

Don't have that issue with any of my Lews although mine aren't that model.  I'd go along with Mike's idea.
Enjoying retirement in the great Pacific Northwest.  I've turned into a fair weather angler.  Why do it today when I can do it tomorrow?

I use my team lite a lot and I've never had any issues...

Are you sure the spool is seated properly in the frame? And the plate is on tight?

If so, and you're still having problems, contact lews... I bet they will replace it for you.

Same exact thoughts here. I have 9 Lew's reels and not once have I had anything like that happen.

Thanks for all the replies.
Its only the Team Lites that you can actually see a little bit of space in between the spool and frame.
The other models that i have (MBs, Pro G, BB1Z) I do not see a space.
I did tighten down the spool a tad so that it wouldn't move back and forth.
I actually thought it was just the one reel that I have until I used the other one over the weekend and I had the same problem.
I will try to get a picture to post.
