Hi, I'm Brandon. I like long walks on the beach, with a fishing rod in hand. I'm in the Raleigh area of NC and am regularly skunked at Shearon Harris, Falls lake, and Lake Wheeler. I fish out of a Lowrance equipped Wilderness Systems Commander 120. Lately I've been switching it up and finding more unpressured waters with great success, including a 6-5 last weekend at one public pond, and a 7+ today at another pond (scale apparently has dead batteries but 23.5"). I look forward to contributing my very limited knowledge and smartass remarks. Thanks

Here's the catch of the day, which was caught in a pond on the way home from being skunked on the Cape Fear river.

Enjoying retirement in the great Pacific Northwest.  I've turned into a fair weather angler.  Why do it today when I can do it tomorrow?
