Help with an Elite 9TI install
« on: May 16, 2018, 06:16:26 AM »

I recently won an Elite 9TI as a door prize at tournament.

I presently have a Lowrance HD10 Gen 2 at the dash and a 5 at the bow.  They are networked together for down scan and down imaging but not depth finding.  I have a separate transducer on the TM for that.

I would like to network the  5 with the 10 on everything and let the Elite work as a stand alone unit mounting the transducer on the TM.

Is this possible?  Do I need any additional cables for the networking of the HD units?

Any help is good, ask any questions if I have left out any information needed to tell me how to do this.  Nathan

That is doable. You will need to set up the 5 to network in Global (I believe) and then dig through the systems and settings to find the transducer. Been a long time since I've worked in the menus  ~sweat

It should be doable without any extra cabling since your networked for side and down.

Mike covered it pretty much. Google what you want and you should be able to find several videos showing you how to do it.

Since its already connected via ethernet then there is nothing to do but move it to where you want it and reconnect the cables....if you want 2d sonar to be displayed on the 5 by leaving the 2d ducer connected to the 10, then you need to go into the 10 sonar menu and turn on the "Network Sonar" option and it should show up on the 5....you may have to go into the 5 and tell it to read sona from the 10.....
