What do you guys think about the new duckett white ice II casting rods. I'm looking at the 7' med. fast tip. I fish specs ,reds and bass. I would like a light weight rod but don't want to worry about breaking it setting the hook. I just bought 2  St.Croix avoid 7' med fast that are very nice just feel a little heavier then some rods. Thanks for any advice

Do your research on these. Duckett rods have had issues with breakage. I don't know the year models or which ones are worse for it than others.

In order to create a light weight rod, Duckett made the walls of the rods very thin. So it's durability is sacrificed. If you can make sure not to bang it or ding it on anything I wouldn't be afraid of it breaking.
