I don't use a lot of fluorocarbons here in NW Louisiana. The water just isn't clear enough to worry about it. I do use it on occasion to help with fall rates and such. Occasionally when the water gets super clear I'll spool it up. But mostly it's for jerk baits for me.

So with my limited use, I spend the money on Tatsu. I have used all the brands and versions you've listed and Tatsu is truly the best in all categories IMO (supple, strength, lack of memory, and doesn't fray easily)

The size of the line you'll be using makes a big difference in my opinion. In lower pound tests many brands do very well. Memory is the biggest issue with fluorocarbon line and the lighter you go the less of an issue it is.

Before Tatsu, Sniper was my favorite, before that Abrazx. Again, because I don't have to use a lot of it, I spend the big dollars on Tatsu. Others will jump in with their opinions. Also, I asked this question on the Ultimate Bass Facebook page a while back and got a ton of answers. https://www.facebook.com/UltimateBass/

Berkley 100% is really good till you get into the heavier lines.
Tatsu is by far the best but as often as you have to change flouro its expensive.

Best all around FC out there right now is Sniper and PLine Tactical.

If I want a super high quality (but stiffer) line strictly for flipping/pitching, I'm going Tatsu or Shooter.

X2 is all can add.

I was reminded why I love Tatsu so much back in the Spring, after re-spooling a baitcaster with something other than Tatsu because I didn't have any in the boat. I think used some Red Label that I had. It was like fishing with a coil spring. It is pricey but, it requires far fewer reties and produces no stress on my nerves. I think I just came up with a new slogan for Seagar! "Fish with less stress, Tatsu!" ~roflmao

I love the fc sniper and currently use #16 on my tatula sv tws for trigs and Carolina rigs and some pitching. Always looking and welcoming advice for better stuff

Just curious if anyone uses Gamma Edge? I asked Karl from ExtremeAnglerTV about it since he uses it all the time. He replied that is truly is great fluorocarbon no bs.  But I dont see anyone ever talking about it good or bad.

Thanks for thid post Jdog.

I've been wanting to get a flouro for pitching\flipping.  Think I'm going to look at Tatsu, with 3 votes for it in this forum.

While your first purchase may not be a thousand yards, I want to point out that Monster Fishing Tackle has consistently had the lowest price on 1000 yard spools of Tatsu.  ;D

Yes, I've used it. They're actually based just north of Pittsburgh here, so lots of local guys use it or are sponsored by the. It's a decent line, but it is pricey for someone who isn't sponsored by them.

I am really liking Trilene 100% Pro Grade.
I also like Invisx

For leader I go with Seagar red label (Don't like this for main line. I find it less manageable. )

I have all but abandoned flouro, but on the rare occasion I use it I like the Trilene Pro Grade also.

Ahh thanks I thought it looked a little $  lo Was just curious. I don't really see a need for fluro for me I fish in mud compared to many of you. Besides pitching and flipping is a reaction bite for me so line is a not a issue. And when fish get so smart they can say that is fishing line, they will also be naming off the lure brands.  ~roflmao

Thank you sir ... 1000 yards for flipping should last a few fish!
