Bass Fishing 09/24/2018 Northwest Washington

[Pacific NW Ron]

No bites for about the first 2 1/2 hours then finally a fish.   After that it was still slow with a fish about every hour.  The biggest one a 1.8lber came at about noon in 11 feet of water.  All fish today were caught on a soft swimbait.  Missed one short strike on the frog.  Fish were caught from the outer edge of the pads.

Wind:  Calm when we started then slowly increasing to a 12 mph Northwest wind

Hard to believe that it is 44 degrees anywhere in the country  but I like the 60's in the afternoon and can't wait for my turn.

Thanks for a great report, always enjoy them. Good job on sticking out the tough bite to catch a few. I've left the lake at 11 before and probably missed out on a few catches.

Thanks for the report Ron and glad to see you caught a fish.  I might be going to Michigan this weekend and if so maybe I can escape that skunk that is following me around.
