Done for this year.
« on: November 10, 2018, 05:16:15 PM »

Started the winterizing process for the winter, just a bit left to do. It's been an interesting year, missed half the spring fishing most of the summer and most of the fall. Hopefully next year will be better, I didn't use up all of the fresh gallon of oil from the spring, filled the reservoir twice and the gas tank once and still had half of that left. I've got rod/reel outfits that weren't used, I'll go through all the reels though, at least I saved a lot of cash on baits.

Yep.  I only use my under seat 33 gal fuel tank now. I don't even think about my 2 extra tournament tanks. Startron is the winter additive I use in the fuel tanks. I have timers for charging my trolling batteries and a trickle charger for my starting battery. The Optimax and stereo both have computers which draw power from the starting battery. Even though I fish in the winter, the cold and computers will drain the starting battery over the winter without the trickle charger.

I hate that you guys have to give it up for the season :surrender: I couldn't do it, I'd go absolutely nuts.

Wizard, my father south of you in Willard got a couple inches of snow last night, how about you?

I don't mind putting it up for the winter, makes me hungry and chomping at the bit come spring, got my equipment cleaned, lubed, polished, and ready, have all the jigs for the year ready. Would it be better to fish year round, sure but I have to make the best of what I get.
